Internet via Satellite
One-way Satellite: How does it work?

A signal is sent from your computer through your modem or ISDN to the internet, ie. a webpage request, and the data is retrieved from the Internet and sent to Plenexis' Earth Station in Germany (Network Operations Centre (NOC)), where it is transmitted through a dish to the EuroBird Satellite, 22,500 miles above the Earth, and then beamed back down to your dish and into your computer. This procedure will keep looping until you no longer request data, or your downloads have finished.

Get the cost of your SkyStar 2 TV PVR PC card refunded when you buy from Sat Europa, and subscribe to Smile Broadband's One-Way Internet via Satellite service.

Sat Europa has linked up with high-speed Internet via Satellite ISP Smile Broadband, to offer the recommended SkyStar 2 TV PVR PC card affectively free-of-charge. Sat Europa will issue vouchers with every SkyStar 2 sold, offering £59 cashback (the retail price). These vouchers will be included to both consumers and dealers.
